Albert James William Dibbens was born on October 22, 1841, in Brading, Hampshire, England. He is one of Arthur's older brothers.
He married Rachel Ife on November 28, 1865, in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, England.
They had two children during their marriage.
Sons, Ernest and George were both born on Isle of Wight.
Albert worked as a bricklayer in Ryde, Isle of Wight before emigrating.
Albert and Rachel immigrated to America in 1872, settling first in the downtown area of Denver City, Colorado. He continued working as a bricklayer in Denver City.
He died on May 30, 1918, in Los Angeles, California, at 76 years old.
